Challah Bake with Mandylicious - February 5, 2023

Tu B’Shevat is also called Rosh HaShanah La'Ilanot, or "New Year of the Trees". In Israel, the day is celebrated as an ecological awareness day, and trees are planted in celebration.

Our Tu B'Shevat program will take place on Sunday, February 5. The schedule is as follows:
  • 9:30 a.m. - K-5 program for students in the sanctuary. Parents welcome.
  • 10:00 a.m. - All Challah Bake participants (students, parents & guests) are welcome to join us either in person (in the social hall) or online where Mandy from Mandylicious will join us via Zoom on the big screen to teach us how to shape our challah dough into a tree.
This is a free event, but we do ask you to register in advance, so we know whether to expect you in person or online.

Please note: This year participants will make their dough at home (you can even make it a day or two ahead) and bring it with you to the event. Click here for the recipe and list of ingredients.
Please include your K-5 student.
