Our Families with Young Children Rosh Hashanah Service with Rabbi Stern and Cantor Snyder and the Yom Kippur Shofar Factory Program are for children birth - grade 2. At the Shofar Factory children will learn about the shofar, how it’s made, and why we use it in our High Holy Day services. They will enjoy making their own shofar using a variety of fun materials. This hands-on program, held in the Early Learning Center, is designed for children aged 15 months–5 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend.

Parents of children attending that are not TBA members must remain in the building for the PreK-6 drop off programs. TBA members may drop off children between 9:30 - 10 a.m. for the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur PreK-6 programs. PreK - grade 6 children’s programming will be split into two groups: PreK– grade 3 and grades 4–6, with activities designed to be fun, age-appropriate, and meaningful.

Teens in grades 7-12 are encouraged to participate in the main sanctuary services and/or connect with Rebecca Kahn about assisting with children’s programs.
